MedXRSI, also a host of the Medical XR Advisory Council, is a critical program of the world’s leading standard-developing organization in emerging and immersive technologies, X Reality Safety Intelligence (XRSI). This collaboration marks a milestone in advancing the safety, security, privacy, ethics, and overall efficacy of immersive technologies within the healthcare sector.
As part of this collaboration, MedXRSI will work closely with the highly regarded Editor-in-Chief and Guidelines Editor of JMedXR to publish groundbreaking medical healthcare research and safety guidelines specific to the Medical XR domain. This joint effort aims to set a new standard for safety in the Medical XR ecosystem, ensuring that practitioners, researchers, and developers alike can operate with robust guardrails that prioritize patient safety and ethical practices.

With the theme of “Embrace Change,” this year’s campaign promotes safe and responsible practices within emerging technologies. JMedXR will participate in the discussions focused on balancing innovation and shared responsibility in open systems as part of the “Immersive Healthcare” day on December 11, 2024.
