Dr. Catherine Jayakumar (she/her) is a clinician–engineer and is working at the intersection of personalized medicine and AI. She holds a Master’s in Personalized Medicine and Applied Engineering from Yale University and a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. As head of research at strategy at ZK Genomics, she builds privacy-preserving data infrastructure and AI health companions that bridge scientific rigor with real-world impact. She holds research appointments at the Yale School of medicine.
Catherine’s work is driven by the belief that data privacy and ethics must advance hand-in-hand with innovation. She is deeply committed to creating responsible frameworks for emerging technologies that honor user autonomy while accelerating discovery.
